United States Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy and Facing Addiction invite you to the launch of Facing Addiction in America, the landmark Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health.Â
This plenary will feature conversations with some of the nation’s leading experts on substance use, misuse and addiction. Dr. Murthy will provide keynote remarks and guide an interactive discussion of the report. Together we will explore the state-of-the-science of addiction and discuss concrete steps that all of us can take to expand treatment, promote prevention and ensure that recovery is possible for everyone.
